Bolivian rainy season (Bolivia, 2013) – The Bolivian rainy season offers with its clouded sky, snowy peaks and green valleys an excellent opportunity to shoot pics of the local mountains. In the background on the right emerges the Huayna Potosí (6088m) with its top covered by rain clouds. Most of the peaks seen on the photo reach 5000m or more – they don´t seem that high due to the fact that the Bolivian Altiplano (high plateau) itself reaches an altitude of 3800 – 4000 meters.
