Sometimes one has to stay at a place for a night to get a nice picture. And sometimes, it just isn´t meant to be. I decided to pass the night at 3500 m altitude at the lagoon Cuicocha in northern Ecuador to see if a nice shot at sunrise will be possible. Instead of this nice shot, I got a nice storm at night which challenged my tent… and my nerves. Although, the clouds seen in the picture shot in the evening should have been a warning.
